C-Quest Capital (CQC) is a carbon finance business dedicated to originating and developing high-quality emission reduction projects around the world. Founded by Ken Newcombe and Matthew Mendis in 2008, CQC is headquartered in Washington, D.C. with offices in Malaysia and a presence in India.

We actively trade on international and domestic carbon markets, employ sophisticated risk hedging strategies to support our origination and asset management activities, and invest in project financing where monetizing carbon enhances returns to equity. Our core asset is our staff, who have pioneered carbon market development and emission reduction projects since 1990. CQC brings together innovators of the global carbon market with leaders in alternative energy project development and risk management and commodities trading. Our management has experience developing and managing the world’s first carbon funds at the World Bank, and has been pivotal establishing major private sector carbon finance businesses in New York and London.
